This was a pleasure to visit, such a pretty little place, uncomplicated and with a very nice feel to it; and the small hamlet it is in, on the outskirts of the village of Abzac; only 5 minutes drive from Availles Limouzine.

Availles-Limouzine is a vibrant village with everything you need for everyday living  as well as being situated on one on the prettiest sections of the Vienne River that I know!

Getting to the area is easy with flights from many UK airports into Limoges (1 hour) and trains in Le Dorat (16kms) having links to services to Poitiers train station where you have TGV connections to Paris, Bordeaux, London & Brussels.

The current owner bought the property in 2006 as a holiday home, the family have now flown the nest and it is time to move on.

The house has mains water and electricity, drainage is to a fosse. Heating is a wood burning fire with electric radiators for back up.
