Set just outside the village of Ansac sur Vienne, at the end of a no through road in a little hamlet is this amazingly private bungalow which is ready to move into now.  The current owners have used it on a semi permanent basis and no expense has been spared. Ansac sur Vienne has around 855 habitants and the village is situated, as indicated by its name; on the banks of the Vienne river.  The village has a very nice Boulangerie/patisserie (I needed lunch whilst there) and various other small enterprises, including a school.

Confolens is a 4 minute drive from the main village and there you will find all the amenities needed for everyday living, including supermarkets, schools, doctors, bars and restaurants.

The international airports at Limoges and Poitiers for daily flights to several UK destinations are only 46 minutes and one hour 20 minutes away respectively.

Limoges and Poitiers also have rail links; the latter providing cross platform TGV connections to Paris, Bordeaux and other French cities plus Brussels and London (via Lille).

The house itself has a nice balcony on its top mezzanine level,  which gives beautiful views towards the lake and countryside beyond.

Recently advertised at a much higher price, the owners have decided to reduce the property to allow for works needed on the lake.
