One of the nicest surprises of the week was being asked to view this exceptionally pretty 2 Bedroom (both with bathrooms) hamlet cottage, with the most stunning views of the Valley leading down to the Gartempe river.

Set in a small hamlet, this really is a lot for your money and the way it is laid out would give a couple instant earning potential as a B & B room; or with a little alteration a nice little gîte.

The village of Bussière Poitevine is around 7 minutes away, and has shops, bar, bank, pharmacy and a Boulangerie to name a few the larger towns of Montmorillon and Le Dorat are around 25 and 15 minutes with all their shopping, bars, restaurants and amenities.

Such a rural setting, but with good links and access is not easy to find and I believe this is one of the reasons why this would be a great little earner for someone wanting to move to France or get an income from a holiday home without compromising their own living space.

Getting to the area is easy with flights from many UK airports into Limoges & Poitiers airports, both around a one-hour drive and trains in Le Dorat(15mins); having links to services to Poitiers train station where you have TGV connections to Paris, Bordeaux, London & Brussels.
