The general store in Saulgé also houses the post office and a very nice coffee shop, they do various activities throughout the week and their pizzas are excellent.

Only 10km away you have the riverside town of Montmorillon famous for its Cité de l'Écrit which has a train station and everything you need for everyday living including 5 supermarkets. It also has a good library, a weekly farmers/local produce market in the square and an indoor and outdoor leisure facility together with some very nice parkland along the banks of the Gartempe river.

Getting to the area is easy with flights from many UK airports into Limoges and Poitiers and the train station in Montmorillon has links to Limoges and to Poitiers train station the latter having TGV connections to Paris, Bordeaux, London & Brussels.

Ruhiges Weilerhaus bei Montmorillon – Vienne

Limoges und Poitiers sind von vielen britischen Flughäfen aus leicht zu erreichen. Der Bahnhof von Montmorillon bietet Verbindungen nach Limoges und Poitiers, letzterer mit TGV-Verbindungen nach Paris, Bordeaux, London und Brüssel.
