Situated in an area known as "La Petite Suisse" (named this because the local people decided the walks in the area reminded them of Switzerland), and not far from the Valley of Cerf’s (deer), is this riverside village which has a restaurant, well know in the area for its dinnertime meals (5 courses for 11 € and very good food), and has a pleasant alfresco dining area which overlooks the river; a distant noise as it runs through the bottom of the valley below. The locals need not venture out of the village as they are services by various mobile shops, including bread, vegetables and meat. The larger town of L'Isle Jourdain is only 10 minutes away where you have all the shops needed for everyday life.

The house itself is in very good repair and is positioned in the centre of the village. The garden is to the rear of the property and is 2 small terraces with joining steps and access doors from the living room and one of the upstairs bedrooms. This would be a great lock up and go, or family home, which is ready to move into, now, as with all houses you may want to change the decor, but the interior, is immaculately clean.

The property benefits from mains water and electricity (redone 6 years ago) and drainage; it is double glazed and has an oil burning central heating system. The roof is in very good condition.

Broadband is available.

Attached to the garage is a further building measuring 13 x 5.5m internally, this was originally the village Salle des Fetes (Community Centre if you like). It is a great space and could easily be converted into a small quirky gîte or used as a workshop for business purposes.
